Andrew Howard, co-founder of Better Block
In preparation for Laurel’s Better Block event on Saturday, September 26, we have scheduled a speaking engagement and workshop with Andrew Howard, the co-founder of Better Block.
Beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 6 at Abbott’s on Broad Creek, Andrew will discuss the Better Block movement and walk the area along Broad Creek with us.
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 7, Andrew will lead a workshop on Better Block at the Laurel Public Library.
While this session is targeted toward Laurel and the redevelopment efforts there, there is limited seating for others interested in community redevelopment. It is funded by the US Department of Agriculture, University of Delaware and the Delaware Economic Development Office.
